Diabetes Type 2, along with pain resulting from an unsuccessful back surgery where 3 discs were removed and screws were implanted.

Following the surgery, the claimant continues to have numbness in his left leg, and a cane was prescribed to assist with continued balance issues. The claimant also suffers form depression, sleep apnea and suicidal ideation. By the time the hearing was held the claimant testified he went back to work (where he worked at Amazon earning close to $30,000 for the year that followed).

Remanded Case

This was also a Remanded Case from the United States District Court, who found the claimant was erroneously denied by the Administrative Law Judge. Our attorney, David Goetz successfully argued the Administrative Law Judge relied erroneously on the inconsistencies between the jobs provided by the Vocational Expert (which were reasoning level 3 jobs) and the limitation of simple, routine tasks.

Because the client recovered nicely and was able to return to work on a substantial gainful basis, our skillful attorney was able to secure retroactive fees for the client from 5/8/2018 to 11/10/2021, the period of time he was unable to work!
