Multiple Orthopedic Issues – 64 Year-Old Female

64 year-old female from Lincoln, Nebraska suffering from: Migraines, severe osteoporosis in all back (3 broken bones), status post 2 kyphoplasty procedures, status post 2 hip replacements (2020), high cholesterol, an overactive thyroid and ambulating with a medically prescribed back brace.

A hearing was held in Omaha, Nebraska. The claimant is 64 years old with Alleged Onset Date of 6/11/2021 and a Date Last Insured of 12/31/2025. The claimant has multiple orthopedic issues which are severely impacting her ability to work and perform simple Activities of Daily Living.

Claimant History – Pain

The claimant has history of end-stage osteoarthritis of the bilateral hips, and is status post total hip replacements performed in May and November of 2020. Additionally she has a diagnosis of Degenerative Disc Disease of cervical spine with radiculopathy, wedge compression fracture of the thoracic spine at T5-6 and T7-8, and is status post two kyphoplasty procedures to address the fractures. She also suffers from migraine headaches and is on heavy duty pain medication to manage her pain. She ambulates with a medically prescribed cane. We also secured two excellent medical statements from her doctors.

The Administrative Law Judge found this claimant to have an inability to perform a full range of even sedentary work activity and she is therefore considered disabled.
