Hearing Summary:

34-year-old male with a Title 16 only claim applying for social security disability benefits due to his severe Tourette’s syndrome which causes significant involuntary movement and verbal tics.

Despite an excellent Consultative Examiner in the record describing claimant’s limitations, they were pretty much ignored by the State Agency and the claimant was denied at the lower administrative levels. The Administrative Law Judge moved quickly through the hearing then asked the Vocational Expert only one disabling question.

The Administrative Law Judge indicated he will approve the claim back to the claimant’s protective filing. 3/21/2023
